Keenan Shane Clodfelter passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, after a brief struggle with heart issues at age 57. He was born on November 22, 1965 in Denver, Colorado to Charles David Clodfelter and Catherine Irene Whalen.
Keenan graduated from Jefferson High School and later attended the Community College of Aurora and obtained his Associate's degree.
After college, he went into the Environmental Service Industry for 20+ years removing asbestos.
A Father, Husband, Son, and Friend who always saw the brighter side of people and situations. No matter how tough life was, he pushed forward with a smile.
As a car enthusiast, Keenan enjoyed driving, admiring and working on cars of all kinds, especially the classics. He was well educated and skilled in his crafts. He was a skillful mechanic by trade and loved to work on cars no matter the challenge. He loved to skateboard and enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping & exploring places with family.
Despite life’s downs, he never lost his sense of humor. Throughout his life, he cracked jokes with his children, made silly faces with his grandchildren, and always found a way to make his loved ones laugh.
Although his passing comes as a surprise, He attempted to enjoy every last day as if it were his last. Leaving 8 children behind, he loved each and every one. He planned to travel across the country to visit and spend time with each and every one of them and his other friends & family.
Keenan was preceded in death by his parents, Charles David Clodfelter & Catherine Irene Whalen; his Uncle Verlin Clodfelter, and his grandson Aizic Blea. He was survived by his Wife – Kam Clodfelter; his Uncles – Brent & Bud Whalen; his 8 children – Tessa, Keenan Jr, Gabriella, Alexis, Christopher, Andrew, Kaylin, and Tyler. As well as many cousins.
