Tyler
Croaker
Oct 25, 1967 — Dec 22, 2023
It is with hearts filled with cherished memories and love that we remember the life of Tyler Blaine Croaker, affectionately known as Tiko, who was born on October 25, 1967, in Grafton, North Dakota, and resided in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. His life was a testament to living with compassion, humor, wit, and generosity. A man who embraced life with spirit and courage, Tyler's most notable achievement was his commitment to living a life free from substance abuse, following six back surgeries. His resilience and determination were awe-inspiring.
Tyler was a man of many passions, which included watching the Colorado Avalanche play hockey, cheering on the New York Giants, hunting, fishing, and keeping his yard immaculate. Yet, his greatest joy was undoubtedly spending time with his beloved grandchildren, who were his world. He was a licensed plumber by trade, but what mattered most to Tyler was being happy with his family. His love for his family was immeasurable, and he cherished the moments he had with them. His infectious laugh, witty jokes, and abundant generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tyler is survived by his daughters, Riki Croaker and Kayla Croaker (Josh Miller), his son Dalton Croaker, ex-wife Linda Hart, and his grandchildren; Kiki Croaker, Jackson Miller, Walter Jr., and Bentley Spinden. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters residing in the Midwest. Tyler was preceded in death by his father Richard Croaker, mother Karen Croaker, sister Stacy Lauinger, nephew Sutton Lauinger, and his in-laws Lewis Hart, Denise Willingham, Brian Hart, Jim McDonald, and Joey Bauer.
Our hearts are lighter knowing that Tyler's spirit continues to live on in the memories we have of him. We invite you to share your memories of Tyler and upload photos to his memorial page. This will allow us all to celebrate and remember the joyous, compassionate, and generous man that was Tyler "Tiko" Croaker.
