On November 19, 2022, Paul David Kornmueller passed away peacefully at the age of 74 surrounded by loved ones.

Paul was born to Karl and Irma Kornmueller on December 25, 1947. On August 19, 1971 Paul was drafted to the US Navy. During that time he received medals for; national defense service, Vietnam service, republic of Vietnam campaign and first good conduct award when he was discharged on August 18, 1975. During his time in the Navy he also attended the University of Northern Colorado until he graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of arts degree where he became a teacher. He also worked at Rocky Flats for 30 years, was a certified firefighter, taught martial arts and had his 3rd degree blackbelt in Taekwondo.

Paul was a gentle giant with a great sense of humor and he lived a full life with many passions. In his spare time he enjoyed going to church, long road trips, hunting, shooting at the range, early morning coffee and donuts with friends, playing with his grandkids, he was active with vets helping vets, enjoyed tennis and baseball, fishing, riding dirt bikes and more.

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Karl, his mother Irma and his brother Cliffton. He is survived by his two children Laura and Aaron, three grandchildren Mackenzy, Brayden and Landyn, two sisters Nancy and Marilyn and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
