Patrick Eggerling, born on March 1, 1993 in Council Bluffs, IA, departed from us on January 9, 2024. Known for his creative and inquisitive mind, Patrick spent his free time taking things apart to understand their inner workings, often displaying his unique talent in reassembling them. His loving and loyal nature shone brightly within the close-knit family he held most dear. Patrick's life was a testament to the words of Emily Dickinson: "We never know how high we are until we are called to rise; and then, if we are true to plan, our statures touch the skies."

He is survived by his mother Maria Gammon and step-father Derrick; his sister Sabrina Friesland and brother-in-law Bryce; his brothers Zachary Eggerling, Kaleb Gammon, and Evan Adamon, and his brother-in-law Steven; his sister Sarah Eggerling and step-sister Paige Gammon; and his grandparents Leonard and Celine Kay. Patrick was preceded in death by his great grandparents Alice and Vernon Peterson, Earl and Theresa Hastert, and Leroy Kay.
