It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness to announce the passing of Mary Alice Sedivy, on November 2, 2024. Mary was born on December 21, 1954, in North Riverside, IL to Alice and Edward Sedivy.

Mary spent her life bringing smiles and laughter to others. Her daily goal was to make 10,000 people laugh and smile each day. She was a very witty, funny, smart and caring person who loved animals.

She had a long career as an entrepreneur. Most recently, Mary created a comedy website, www.painfulpuns.com, making countless memes and jokes. She accumulated an impressive 107,000 Twitter followers at https://x.com/painfulpunz For 10 years she owned and operated Aspen Country as an E-Commerce Director, Creative Director, Web Marketing Manager, and Promotional Strategist. Apple purchased some of her art. She was featured in the Denver post for her parody websites.

She graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado, and was in Kappa Phi Omega at Arapahoe High School. She was an incredible photographer and artist throughout her life.

Mary is survived by her daughter and granddaughters as well as Buddy her parakeet. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, creativity, and warmth that will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
