Mary E. Manzanares, also affectionately known as Della, was born on November 15, 1944 in Denver, Colorado. She left our presence at noon on August 5, 2025 at the great age of 80 years.

Mary Della was preceded in death by her beloved father, Joe Manzanares, and beloved mother, Jessie Susie Rodriguez; her brothers, Adolph Rodriguez, Bruno Rodriguez, and Martin Rodriguez; and her sisters, Connie Salazar, Hope Gray, and Ignacia "Christine" Rodriguez.

She is survived by her devoted son, Edward, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Manzanares; her cherished grandchildren: Mateo, Isiah (Michelle), and Mary Noelle. She also leaves behind her loving brothers, Albert Carrillo (Pearl), David Rodriguez (Cristella), and Frank Rodriguez (Kristine); her dear sisters, Rosalie Hernandez and Phyllis A. Hoar (David); and numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.

Mary was and will forever be known as a pillar of God's beauty to all. She prayed without ceasing—for her family, friends, and neighbors she passed and waved to from the porch. A gifted Seamstress and Tailor, she shared her talents and resources freely and generously.

Mary, a single parent, served with compassion as a Sunday School Teacher for decades at Templo Gethsamane Church. She also worked as a caregiver to hundreds of children brought in by law enforcement due to domestic abuse situations, often rocking them gently to sleep while humming worship songs. Her life was one of selfless love, deep faith, and unwavering commitment to others.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and faithfulness that will continue to guide and inspire her family for generations to come.

Rest Forever in Heavenly Riches and Glory Mary Della.
