Linda
Dominguez
Jul 25, 1954 — May 16, 2024
The world was blessed with the arrival of Linda Dee Dominguez on the 25th of July, 1954, in Cottonwood, ID, USA. It was here in this small town that Linda's compassionate spirit was nurtured, a spirit that would touch countless lives. Linda was a beacon of light in a sometimes dark world, her generous heart was a constant source of comfort to those around her. She was a dedicated and loving mother, who built a life around her family and her faith. "Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.'" (Proverbs 31:28-29). Linda truly embodied these biblical verses through her actions.
Linda, a resident of Aurora, Colorado, was a professional in the most noble and demanding of occupations - a mom. She took this role seriously, dedicating herself to the well-being and happiness of her children, Shanna and Lee. Linda's home was a haven of warmth and unconditional love. Her hobbies reflected the depth of her love. She cherished spending time with her grandkids, indulged her love for animals, and had a knack for collecting items that brought joy into their lives. A woman of deep faith, Linda had a profound love for Jesus Christ. Her faith was the compass that directed her life, always pointing her towards acts of love and kindness.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Joe Abbott, her mother, Mable Stiles, and her sister, Diane Abbott. She is survived by her loving children, Shanna Onwuegbu and Lee Dominguez, her sister Terry Thompson, her grandsons Ikechukwu and Chukwuemeka Onwuegbu, her brothers Phillip and Andrew Abbott, brother Joe Jr, her granddaughter Isabella Dominguez-Huff, and grandson Elliot Dominguez-Huff.
Linda's legacy is one of love, generosity, faith, and dedication. She leaves behind a family that will forever cherish her memory and continue her legacy. We invite you to share your memories of Linda and upload photos to the memorial page, as we celebrate the life of this remarkable woman. Let us remember Linda not with sadness, but with the joy and love she so generously gave during her lifetime.
