Obituary

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our loving brother, Uncle and friend, Kris Michael Hutchinson, 49, of Denver, CO. Born on June 3, 1974, in Chicago, IL, Kris was the youngest of four children. Kris attended Downingtown Sr High School and West Chester University in Pennsylvania before pursuing his career as a Sous Chef.

Kris lived a vibrant life full of flavor and passion until his unfortunate departure on March 11, 2024. He had a unique ability to connect with people, painting the world with his infectious laughter, witty humor, and remarkable culinary skills.

Kris was an avid Cubs fan. He enjoyed baseball, football, animals, music, riding his bike, the outdoors and cooking it up in the kitchen. He admired writing songs and playing his guitar. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Kris was a "Trixster" and enjoyed making everyone in the room laugh.

Kris leaves behind a loving family who will continue to remember and cherish his larger-than-life personality and the delicious meals he prepared. He is survived by his Stepfather, Michael Ransing of Bishopville, MD, two sisters Janice Kwasizur, (Frank) of Coatesville, PA and Nikki Owens of Honey Brook, PA, his brother Brian Hutchinson, (Beth) of West Chester, PA two nieces Amanda Owens and Samantha Hutchinson, two nephews, Max and Ty Hutchinson, a great niece, Oaklee Troxel, a great nephew, Kolsyn Troxel, along with numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Kris was preceded in death by his parents, Richard P. Hutchinson and Nancy J. Ransing. His absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit will continue to live on in the memories and stories shared by those who knew him.

We invite you to honor Kris by sharing your fond memories and photos on his memorial page. Your stories will help to keep the essence of Kris alive, serving as a comforting reminder of the joy he brought to our lives.

Cremation services are to be completed by Front Range Burial and Cremation. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Kris's hometown of Chicago, IL. Additional details regarding memorial service are available upon request.
