Jeanette
Mcguire
Aug 22, 1944 — Apr 7, 2026
With a heavy heart, we announce the peaceful passing of Jeanette Margaret McGuire on April 7, 2026. Born in Nelson, Nebraska on August 22, 1944, Jeanette was a beacon of love and kindness to all who had the privilege to know her. Her life was a testament to her compassionate spirit, her creative genius, and her generous heart.
Jeanette made her home in Aurora, Colorado where she cultivated a life of love and service. Her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the health care sector was a reflection of her selfless and loving nature. She poured her heart into her work, providing comfort and care to those in need. Jeanette was also deeply involved in the ladies' auxiliary of her Catholic church, where she served with dedication and humility. A verse from the Bible that embodied her spirit was, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8).
Outside of her professional and religious commitments, Jeanette found joy in the simple things. She cherished gardening, often saying that she could grow plants in a cup of water. An avid crocheter, she crafted blankets and hats, which she generously donated to those in need. Yet, what mattered most to Jeanette was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward McGuire, whom she married on December 7, 1965. Their love story was one of enduring devotion and mutual respect. She is also survived by her children, Angelia Owens, Don McGuire, and Jodonnah Brockman, who were the pride and joy of her life. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Margaret Brockman.
As we mourn the loss of our beloved Jeanette, we celebrate the remarkable life she lived. We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Jeanette on her memorial page. In remembering her, we keep her spirit alive, and in sharing our stories, we find comfort and healing.
