Obituary

Diana Marie Pate, known affectionately as DD or DeeDee, passed away on July 21, 2023. Born on September 16, 1964, in Topeka, KS, Diana's spirit was as vibrant and unforgettable as the day she entered the world. She was an adventurous soul, forever seeking out new experiences and embracing life's countless wonders with open arms. Diana's courageous heart and generous spirit were the cornerstones of her life, guiding her journey with unwavering conviction and inspiring those fortunate enough to know her. In her professional life, Diana was a dedicated and respected Bank Supervisor, a role she held until her retirement. Her remarkable work ethic and commitment to her career were evident in all she did. Yet, it was her love for games, cooking, and family time that truly defined her. Diana was a loving woman, her warmth and kindness radiating to everyone she knew. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Diana embodied this quote, her love for her family, friends, and pets being her guiding light. Diana is survived by her sisters, Lori Allen and Audrey White. They will forever remember their sister's contagious laughter, her delicious cooking, and the countless games they played together. Diana's love, courage, and generosity will continue to resonate within their hearts, carrying her spirit with them always. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Patricia Helm. Their love and values have left an indelible mark on Diana and have shaped the incredible woman she became. As we bid farewell to Diana Pate, we invite you all to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to ours. We encourage you to share your favorite memories, stories, and photos of Diana on her memorial page. Let's honor her adventurous spirit, her courage, and her boundless love by remembering and cherishing the extraordinary life she led.
