With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of David Doan on December 4, 2024. Born on June 2, 1962, to Patricia G. Marsh and stepfather George Doan, David's life was a testament to perseverance and survival, marked by both challenges and moments of connection.

Despite the distances that life created between David and his family, he was deeply cherished by his neighbors, who spoke of his kind heart and the quiet goodness he brought to their community. David's ability to leave a lasting impression on those who knew him well is a poignant reminder of the impact one life can have, even amidst personal struggles.

David is survived by his stepfather George Doan, his brothers, Kenneth Doan and Jeffrey (Steffens-Crosswait), and his daughters, Christina Zettle, Christine Doan, Heather Hayes, and Jessica Doan.

A private service will be held at a later date. To honor David's memory, the family encourages donations to causes that provide support and compassion to those facing life's hardships.
