We remember with love and respect, Darrell Victor Christian Nelson, born on December 4, 1977, in Denver, CO, USA, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 46. Known for his helping and humble nature, Darrell was a loyal friend, a funny companion, and a devoted father to his son, Jack. He worked many years as a hotel auditor, enjoyed tinkering with and repairing electronics and was proud of his work he did on cell towers. He found joy in his hobbies of gaming and sharing quality time with his son Jack.

Darrell's spiritual connection to his Native American roots was a part of his life, and he enjoyed participating in Sweat Lodge ceremonies. He believed in God and his Son Jesus and spent time reading and deciphering scripture. This spiritual belief was reflected in the respect and love he showed for his son, Jack, who mattered most to him.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Ramona Nelson; his aunt, Jacqueline Schutte and her husband Stephen; his ex-wife, Jennifer Kerastas; his grandmother, Blanche Zembower; his son, Jack Nelson; and his aunt, Lynda Clark and many beloved cousins. Darrell was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Zembower, his uncles, Darrell and Richard Nelson, Great Grandfather Rev. Christian B Whipple and Great Grandmother Estherlyn (Harlan) Whipple.

Services to honor Darrell will be Saturday December 7th at 1pm at Church of the Holy Redeemer 2552 N. Williams St. Denver, CO. Reception to follow.
